RYE, N.Y. -- The Rye High girls lacrosse team posted a 12-4-1 record last spring, advancing to the Section 1 Class B semifinal, where the Garnets lost to eventual sectional champion Somers (which reached the state championship game).

Seventh-year coach Dennie Hurlie believes the team has the pieces necessary to repeat as league champions, and said the team is hungry to compete for a sectional title.

Check out the video to hear Daily Voice talk with Hurlie and team captains Abby Abate, Micheline DiNardo and Madeline Johnson about the new season.
