RYE, N.Y. – The New York State Association of School Business Officials gave an A grade to state Sen. George Latimer, D-Rye, for his support of education funding and for his votes and legislation on behalf of children who have special needs.
The association’s membership includes school business officials and staff from school districts and BOCES around the state.
Latimer said, “Many of the bills that I voted for, that the association sees as priorities, passed the Senate, and a good number passed both houses. It is rewarding to see that educating our children is a priority of the entire legislature.”
