In her first interview for NBC News, Megyn Kelly, who lives in Rye, has set a pretty high bar.
Kelly moderated a panel discussion with Russian President Vladmir Putin Friday, who strongly denied Russia interfered in last year's US presidential election to Donald Trump defeat Hillary Clinton. Kelly is also set to go one-on-one with the Russian president to kick off the premiere of her new Sunday newsmagazine "Sunday Night With Megyn Kelly."
Putin said the United States has no proof and told Kelly her underage daughter could have been behind the hacking, according to NBC News. He said the United States blaming Russia reminded him of anti-Semitism and when countries would blame things on the Jews, according to NBC News.
Kelly announced she was leaving Fox News for NBC back in January.
