RYE, N.Y. -- A Rye family awoke to their home full of smoke on Thursday, Dec. 26, according to a report from News12.
About 20 Rye firefighters battled a small blaze in the Rye home on 1 Clark Lane at around 3 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, according to the report.
A firefighter was taken to the hospital after feeling faint, but fire officials expected him to be OK, according to the report.
Damage to the home was minimal and the family was allowed back inside after the fire was extinguished, according to the report.
