Apawamis Golf Club Employee Flips Cart, Hospitalized

RYE, N.Y. -- An Apawamis  Club worker was injured on Sunday morning after his utility-style golf cart flipped on a steep berm, according to Rye police.

Rye police and Harrison Emergency Medical Services personnel responded to 2 Club Road about 9 a.m. The golf club employee was taken to Greenwich Hospital.

Lt. Scott Craig, a spokesman for the Rye Police Department, said, "In an attempt to turn the cart around, the employee drove up a steep berm causing the cart to topple over onto to him."

Craig said The Apawamis Club employee suffered a back injury and was transported to Greenwich Hospital.
