10 Westchester Residents Charged With DWI In State Police Stops

More than 30 motorists were busted by New York State Police troopers as law enforcement agencies in the Hudson Valley continue a nationwide crackdown on drunk, drugged and distracted driving.

Westchester County

  • On Friday, Oct. 12, State Police from Somers arrested Edwin P. Loja Cabrera, 21, of Ossining, for DWI. He was traveling on Route 100 in Somers, when he was involved in a motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Friday, Oct 12, State Police from Cortlandt arrested Belinda Ritter, 48, of Peekskill, for DWI. She was traveling on Route 9 in Peekskill, when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, Oct 13, State Police from Somers arrested James M. Greenfieldt, 24, of Somers, for DWI. He was traveling on Route 202 in Somers, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, Oct 13, State Police from Cortlandt arrested Natoya O. Jones, 39, of Croton-On-Hudson, for DWI. He was traveling on Route 9 in Croton-On-Hudson, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, Oct 13, State Police from Cortlandt arrested Tyrone D. Smith, 32, of Ossining, for Aggravated DWI. He was traveling on Dale Avenue in Ossining, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, Oct 13, State Police from Cortlandt arrested Sandra J. Figueroa, 24, of Mount Kisco, for DWI. She was traveling on Washington Street in Peekskill, when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, Oct 14, State Police from Cortlandt arrested Carlos V. Cabrera, 32, of Peekskill, for DWI. He was traveling on Welcher Avenue in Peekskill, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, Oct 14, State Police from Somers arrested Taylor J. Nelson, 28, of Somers, for Aggravated DWI with a prior conviction, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation both class E felonies, Resisting arrest, and Obstruction of Governmental Administration, both class A misdemeanors. He was traveling on Route 202 in Somers, when he was involved in a one-car motor vehicle crash. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, Oct 14, State Police from Somers arrested Tomas Bravo Castro, 34, of Mount Kisco, for DWI. He was traveling on I-684 in Bedford, when he was involved in a personal injury motor vehicle crash. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, Oct 14, State Police from Hawthorne arrested Rivelineau Charles, 34, of Elmsford, for DWI. He was traveling on the Taconic State Parkway in Mount Pleasant, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

Dutchess County

  • On Saturday, Oct 13, State Police from Rhinebeck arrested Christian R. Aguayo, 38, of Fishkill, for DWI. He was traveling on the Taconic State Parkway in Milan, when he was involved in a one-car motor vehicle crash. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, Oct 14, State Police from Wappinger arrested Stephanie M. Clare, 36, of LaGrange, for DWI, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, and an outstanding arrest warrant. She was traveling on Route 82 in the town of Fishkill, when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, Oct 14, State Police from Wappinger arrested Pietro V. Moran, 22, of Wappinger, for DWI. He was traveling on Jackson Street in Fishkill, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

Fairfield County

  • On Saturday, Oct 13, State Police from Brewster arrested Elsa I. Chanchavac, 40, of Danbury, for DWI. She was traveling on Danbury Road in Southeast, when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, Oct 13, State Police from East Fishkill arrested Kleber N. Curay-Munoz, 36, of Danbury, for DWI. He was traveling on I-84 in Southeast, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, Oct 13, State Police from Bedford arrested Maria J. Jeton Torres, 30, of Brookfield, for DWI. She was traveling on I-684 in Bedford, when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, Oct 14, State Police from Livingston arrested Marissa A. Novack, 30, of Stamford, for DWI. She was traveling on Route 23B in Greenport, when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, Oct 14, State Police from East Fishkill arrested Danniel Monteiro Santos, 27, of Danbury, for DWI. He was traveling on I-84 in Southeast, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
