First responders were dispatched to the Shell Gas Station on Marble Avenue at approximately 6:45 p.m. on Monday evening, when a Honda slid off the icy road and through the store, causing extensive damage to both the vehicle and interior of the store.

Officials said that in the process, the car struck a 62-year-old Pleasantville woman who was walking on the sidewalk near the station. She was hospitalized with a leg injury, but it is not life-threatening. Neither the driver, a 22-year-old woman from Yonkers, nor anyone inside the store were injured.
