The group SOBH Cyber Jihad sent word through another Iranian group that they were the party behind the attack, news of which was reported this past Sunday on Daily Voice.

The group claimed that they kept quiet about the attack for two years because of warnings to stay quiet "for the greater good," reported NBC News.

Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino called the level of secrecy about the breach "unacceptable" in a press conference held earlier this week.
