Federal Judge Dismisses Rye Teacher's Lawsuit

RYE, N.Y. -- A federal judge dismissed a lawsuit by a Rye teacher who alleged the school district violated her constitutional rights, according to LoHud.com.

 U.S. District Court Judge Cathy Seibel said that Carin Mehler, a fourth grade teacher who has been on paid administrative reassignment for improper coaching during state exams, did not have her constitutional rights violated by the school. She did, however, add that the school did not provide enough evidence to prove any wrongdoing by Mehler, LoHud.com reported.
