Summer Kicks Off In Rye

RYE, N.Y. -- Walking down Purchase Street in Rye, one can see subtle hints summer is here.

Beach towels and straw totes are in the store windows. Teddy bears line the shelves at Candy Rox with camp names on their t-shirts.

Rye AP Photography students are having their work displayed in an exhibit next to Poppy's Luncheonette. Students were required to prepare a portfolio of 24 pieces to submit to the College Board.

The Little Thai Kitchen also recently opened a Rye location at 2 Purchase Street while Hudson Paul Salon is having a grand re-opening.
