The ensemble will perform a rarely offered program of string sextets composed by Richard Strauss, Antonin Dvořák and Johannes Brahms.

The remaining two concerts in Friends of Music’s 62nd season will be held in the Kusel Auditorium at Sleepy Hollow High School; these concerts are also free for students.
On Saturday, April 30, at 8 p.m., the Chinese pianist Yun-Chin Zhou, a winner of Young Concert Artists International Auditions in 2013, will perform works by Haydn, Liszt, Ravel, and Rachmaninoff, as well as six songs by Charles Trenet.
The Pacifica Quartet, which has gained international status as one of the finest chamber ensembles performing today, will play works by Mozart, Schnittke and Mendelssohn on Saturday, May 14, at 8 p.m.
Parking is free and plentiful at both venues.
Founded in 1953, Friends of Music Concerts is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization that showcases a wide range of musicians who demonstrate the diversity and fine quality of chamber music today.
Concerts are made possible, in part, by a Project Support Grant from ArtsWestchester with funds from Westchester County Government, by a grant from the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the state Legislature, and by support from private individuals and corporations.
