How much more do the taxpayers have to take from French and Pickup. They have both been caught lying to the public and other City Council members. First Pickup covered up for French and now French is trying to reciprocate for Pickup. These two miscreants must go. The sooner the better. Isn't it strange that Mr. Dapolite wasn't charged with making a false statement when he said Pickup and Levitsky lied to the public and to the Rye City Council? So if Mr. Dapolite is making false allegations against his immediate supervisor and the City Manager why hasn't he been fired already? Could it be that Pickup and Levitsky know that they lied and the only way out is for French to fabricate some more ethics board B.S.? The public isn't buying this charade. The City of Rye, its employees and its residents are suffering because of these two clowns. Check out this video of yesterday's board of ethics meeting. The Ethics Board is going to advise on what exactly? If Pickup and Lavizky lied to the Rye Council and to the public they should be fired. case closed. The Ethics Committee doesn't have the power or authority to investigate the swirling and growing allegations. Does French think that by hiring Pickup's attorney Toomey to handle this that he is fooling anyone? Filippi says he didn't want to spend any money on lawyers to investigate this. Really Filippi? How much longer are French and Pickup going to be allowed to be less than truthful to the public? How can French and Pickup be trusted to run the day to day business of the City of Rye with so many accusations of being less than truthful and flaunting the City of Rye laws and codes hanging over their heads? Pickup does not work for French and French alone. He is supposed to work for all of Rye's citizens. Yet French uses Pickup (and Wilson) as his own personal pawns to gather alibis and other lame excuses for his misdeeds. Why hasn't the other six members of the Rye City Council stopped this?
