Please just let them take their money elsewhere. I would rather pay higher taxes in White Plains but not have to deal with the type of people that come with low income housing.
This is ridiculous and for those who paid over half a million for their apartments in Rye or Scarsdale it is a slap in the face. View Comment
Ummm there is no where for people to park and the young people cannot afford the rent for where there is parking.
So no Mayor Roach you are not creating an environment that brings in the youth, you are driving them out.
You drive them to Brooklyn, Jersey City, Hoboken, Yonkers and New Rochelle. All places where these young people can afford apartments and park in front of there homes.
There will be a large glut of homes when the current older generation passes.
And in addition Westchester is losing all the big corporations - Kraft, Starwood, and even Heineken has moved their entire marketing dept to Manhattan along with Pernod Ricard, leaving on the financial teams in Westchester.
You are losing the youth, despite how much you try to proclaim you are keeping them and building the generation.
Keep rents reasonable, allow people to park overnight instead of paying ridiculous prices and perhaps then you will grow that population. View Comment
What is wrong with people?
Seriously? You chose to go with a union. That clearly didn't work out for you - because they are the ones that are locking you out.
Why then go and hurt your neighbors by shooting at things? You could have hurt innocent people and then you are making their lives hell?
And I would like to know if the individual had a license for that firearm.

Wait, how can they refuse to work and yet collect unemployment?
That is ridiculous.
If I said I refused to work at my job because they didn't give me a raise I would be fired and I wouldn't receive unemployment.
I support Con Edison.
Why does everyone in this country think they deserve everything without working for it?
I hope we get out from these unions thumbs. View Comment
