A former high school coach from the Hudson Valley is facing charges for allegedly getting inappropriate with underage players, according to police. In Virginia, the Arlington County Police Department's Special Victims Unit is investigating Rockland County native George Porcha, age 53, originally from Spring Valley and now of Winterville, North Carolina, after he was charged for multiple sexually-based offenses dating back to allegations made in 2022. Jumper's Body Recovered Near Driscoll Bridge Along Garden State Parkway:

The body of a man who jumped off the Garden State Parkway's Driscoll Bridge was recovered from the Raritan River, authorities said. Troopers were advised of a motorist stopped on the parkway northbound at MP 127.5 in Woodbridge at 6:55 a.m. Monday, July 31, New Jersey State Police said. As police arrived, a man exited the vehicle and jumped over the side of the bridge, State Police said. Perth Amboy Police Department Marine Unit arrived and recovered the man who was pronounced dead, police said.

A woman who was barred from Target and charged with shoplifting has been arrested at the store, again, for another alleged theft. Caitlin O'Callahan, 35, of Woodbridge, was arrested by Milford Police on Thursday, Nov. 19, after officers responded to a call from the store on Boston Post Road, said the Milford Police. An investigation led to the arrest of O’Callahan who is accused of stealing over $360 worth of merchandise. Bloomfield Man Killed In Weekend Crash, 2 Passengers Hurt
A 27-year-old man from Bloomfield was killed and two others hurt in a single-car crash in Woodbridge over the weekend, authorities said. Isiah Hamilton was heading south on Rahway Avenue when his car veered off the road and struck a pole around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Woodbridge police said. Hamilton was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, where he was pronounced dead. Hamilton’s two passengers, 23-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman, were taken to University Hospital in Newark with non life-threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
