Sunday Stabbing Leaves Woman With Life-Threatening Injuries In Hagerstown, Police Say Police say that a 41-year-old man is in custody after stabbing a woman in a Hagerstown apartment late on Sunday afternoon. At around 6:20 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5, officers from the Hagerstown Police Department were called to a building in the unit block of North Mulberry Street, where they found a 34-year-old woman suffering from multiple stab wounds.  She was rushed to Meritus Medical Center with what were described as "life-threatening injuries," though on Monday morning, police said that she is expected to survive. 5-Year-Old Child, Woman Struck By Car In Newark A 5-year-old child and a woman were hospitalized after being struck by a car in Newark. It happened around 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, at Grafton Avenue and Broadway, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. The victims were transported to University Hospital for evaluation of complaints of pain and both are reportedly in stable condition. The driver remained at the scene.  The incident remains under investigation.

Man, Woman Burned In Campbell Hall House Fire Airlifted To Hospital A man and a woman were seriously burned during a raging fire at their Hudson Valley home. The blaze broke out in Orange County around 4:30 a.m., Monday, Aug. 21, on Overlook Drive in Campbell Hall. Police Search For Woman Accused Of Stealing Merchandise From Commack Store Police have asked the public for help locating a woman accused of stealing about $350 worth of merchandise from a Long Island store. A woman stole two Craftsman toolsets from Lowe's in Commack at about 5:15 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 28, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.
