At around 6:20 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5, officers from the Hagerstown Police Department were called to a building in the unit block of North Mulberry Street, where they found a 34-year-old woman suffering from multiple stab wounds.  She was rushed to Meritus Medical Center with what were described as "life-threatening injuries," though on Monday morning, police said that she is expected to survive. It happened around 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, at Grafton Avenue and Broadway, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. The victims were transported to University Hospital for evaluation of complaints of pain and both are reportedly in stable condition. The driver remained at the scene.  The incident remains under investigation.

Man, Woman Burned In Campbell Hall House Fire Airlifted To Hospital A man and a woman were seriously burned during a raging fire at their Hudson Valley home. The blaze broke out in Orange County around 4:30 a.m., Monday, Aug. 21, on Overlook Drive in Campbell Hall.
