Driver, 44, Airlifted When Vehicle Overturns On Route 78 In Hunterdon County: Njsp A 44-year-old Cranford man was airlifted to a nearby hospital after his vehicle overturned on Route 78 in Hunterdon County on the evening of Sunday, April 28, authorities said. At 7:07 p.m., a GMC SUV was traveling eastbound on Route 78 in Union Township when the driver lost control, ran off the roadway and overturned, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.  The man sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to an area hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

The West Amwell Fire Company rushed to the crash scene on Mt. One Injured After SUV Overturns On I-684, Causing Route 22 Closure One person was injured when an SUV overturned on I-684, closing Route 22 in both directions.The incident took place northbound around 2:20 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, in Purdys, when the vehicle rolled over the side of I-684 just south of Exit 7, jumped the guardrail and landed on its roof on Route 22, said state police.
