Truck Bursts Into Flames On I-80: Allamuchy FD
A truck fire sent smoke billowing into the sky on I-80 in Warren County on Sunday, April 7, authorities said. At 11:30 a.m., first responders arrived tat I-80 West by Exit 19 and confirmed the fire, the Allamuchy Fire Department said in a release. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the blaze, bringing it under control within minutes, fire officials said. Firefighters remained on scene until 12:30 p.m., fire officials said. There were no reports of any injuries.

Tractor Trailer Erupts In Flames On Route 78
Firefighters extinguished a truck fire on Route 78 on the evening of Tuesday, March 5, that made the sky look orange, authorities said. At 10:39 p.m. the Whitehouse Fire Company and Oldwick Fire Company responded to Route 78 eastbound by exit 78 for a tractor trailer fire, the Whitehouse Fire Company said on Facebook. Whitehouse Fire Company Firefighters used multiple lines to attack the blaze and were able to declare the fire under control before midnight, firefighters said.

A tractor-trailer caught fire along the New Jersey Turnpike, authorities said. The fire occurred shortly before 5 p.m on Tuesday, May 16 on the NJ Turnpike Outer Roadway northbound North of Interchange 8A (Route 32) in South Brunswick, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation. A tractor-trailer hauling live chickens went up in flames on Route 80 before dawn Tuesday, state police said. The trailer was heading eastbound when it caught fire near milepost 8.1 in Knowlton Township around 12:05 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 8, NJSP Trooper Brandi Slota told DailyVoice.com.
