Five Hudson Valley teens have been charged with hate crimes for allegedly yelling anti-Semitic slurs and shooting a pellet gun at individuals. The incidents occurred in Rockland County in Ramapo on two dates in April. According to Det. Sgt. Authorities from Bergen and Rockland counties who arrested a man accused of selling a fentanyl-laced dose of Xanax that killed a user from Suffern reported finding two stolen guns in his Paterson home. Detectives determined that Tristan Colquhoun, 30, sold Matthew Andreas, 39, of Suffern the fatal dose, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. Authorities confirmed a Wednesday morning commuter train fatality in Ramsey. The man was struck and killed by a Rockland County-bound NJ TRANSIT Main Line Train #1109 about 300 yards south of the Main Street crossing and the Ramsey train station around 9:40 a.m. Nov. 15.
