State Trooper Hospitalized In Warren County Crash A state trooper was sent to the hospital after a troop car hit an embankment and overturned in Warren County early on Saturday, Sept. 9, authorities said. The trooper was driving a Ford Explorer state police vehicle near 70 Hissin Rd. in Hope Township when it veered off the left side of the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned around 4:50 a.m., NJSP Det. Jeffrey Lebron told Daily Voice. The trooper was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of moderate injuries, Lebron added. The crash remains under investigation. No further details were released.

Missing NJ State Trooper Found Safe In Pennsylvania A 46-year-old New Jersey State Trooper who went missing last weekend has been found safe, authorities said.   Jason Dare was last seen walking away from a health facility in Media, PA, (Delaware County) on Sunday, March 19 at about 7 p.m., according to  New Jersey State Police. In a social media post on Friday, March 24, State Police reported that Dare had been found safe in Pennsylvania. Dare's LinkedIn profile shows he apparently lives in Vineland, NJ. "Thank you everyone for your support and your invaluable tips," State Police wrote on Twitter.

A state trooper attempted to stop a black GMC van for a violation in the westbound lanes near milepost 14.2 in Liberty Township just before 12:40 a.m., NJSP Trooper Brandi Slota told Daily Voice.
