A homicide investigation has been launched after a 27-year-old woman was stabbed dead outside of a Somerset County apartment complex Tuesday night, Jan. 30, officials said. The unidentified woman was found by Somerville police responding to a 911 call, outside a residential complex on North Bridge Street around 10:20 p.m., Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald said. A Somerville laundromat became a murder scene after a man was stabbed and later died of his injuries, authorities said. Weymouth resident Joseph Muzzi, age 33, was stabbed in the evening of Monday Dec. 6 inside Spin Cycle Laundromat on Main Street, the Middlesex District Attorney's Office reports. A 68-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene of an early morning fire in Somerset County on Sunday, Sept. 25, authorities announced. Somerville police identified the 70-year-old cyclist who died over the weekend after a parked driver opened his car door into the bike rider and caused him to crash. Stephen Conley of Somerville was riding his bike on the Broadway bike lane just before 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 12, when a Land Rover's driver-side door flew open right in front of him, the Middlesex District Attorney's Office said.
