Dutchess County resident, Linda Lawlor of the Hyde Park Central School District, was recently named School Bus Driver of the Year by the Dutchess County Traffic Safety Board.  County representatives presented Lawlor with a plaque on Wednesday, April 24, in front of Haviland Middle School. Manchester Township police said the crash happened at the intersection of Route 37 and Colonial Drive at around 3:45 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 26. The intersection is right next to the police department. Investigators said the teen was driving a 2007 Hyundai Elantra west on Colonial Drive in the left turn lane.
