Quite A Crowd Expected At Greater Danbury Half Marathon, 5K Races A large turnout is expected Sunday, April 8 for the annual Greater Danbury Half Marathon and 5K race, which will begin at 9:15 a.m.  The half marathon will begin at Roger's Park. (Turn onto South Street then onto Mountainville Avenue.) The race proceeds onto Mountainville towards Long Ridge Road then onto Reservoir Road and enters into Bethel.  Runners will re-enter Danbury on Long Ridge Road to Mountainville Avenue and ends back at Roger's Park. Expect traffic delays while the race is on.
