Overturned Truck Shuts Down Highway Ramp In Northampton County: PSP (

Update: The ramp has since reopened, troopers said. Crews are at the scene of an accident involving an overturned tractor-trailer on Wednesday, April 3, according to troopers. Troop M's Nathan Branosky said the truck flipped on the ramp from Route 33 southbound to Interstate 78 eastbound in Lower Saucon. Drivers on Route 33 south are being detoured onto I-78's westbound lanes, state police said. The ramp was still closed while first responders worked the scene around noon, Branosky said.

I-78 Crash: Multi-Vehicle Accident In Northampton County
Multiple cars were involved in a wreck on Interstate 78 near Hellertown on Friday afternoon, Feb. 16, according to PennDOT. It happened between Exit 67 to Hellertown/Bethlehem and Exit 60B to South 4th Street, the department said. A lane restriction is in effect as of 2:50 p.m., officials said. It's not yet clear if anyone was injured.

The driver who died on Route 33 in Bethlehem Township on Wednesday night, Nov. 8, was 40-year-old Surmaliz Valentin Ramos, authorities say. Ramos, of Hellertown, was driving a 2014 Toyota Scion when she crashed along Route 33 between Interstate 78 and the exit to Freemansburg Avenue at mile marker 1.4 around 7:15 p.m., state police told Daily Voice. Crash Partially Closes I-78 In Bedminster
A crash partially closed Interstate 78 in Somerset County, authorities said. New Jersey State troopers responded at 10:41 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 5 to a crash on Interstate 78 west at milepost 27, in Bedminster, a State Police spokesman said. Based on a preliminary investigation two vehicles were traveling west when one vehicle lost directional control striking the other vehicle, he said. There were no injuries reported. A 22-year-old Virginia man was killed in a tractor-trailer crash on a Pennsylvania highway over the weekend, authorities said. Evan Dennison, of Berryville, was driving a vehicle that struck the back of a tractor-trailer on Interstate 78 in Weisenberg Township, on Sunday, July 23, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said. A 23-year-old woman was flown to the hospital in a crash on Interstate 78 Sunday, June 25, New Jersey State Police said. An Acura Integra driven by a 23-year-old Manville man ran off the highway to the left and crossed the center median, entering the westbound lanes around 9 a.m. near milepost 22.7, in Clinton Township, NJSP Trooper Charles Marchan said.
