Three high school students are being applauded for helping officers rescue an unresponsive man after he crashed his car in Arlington on Thursday night, Dec. 28, authorities said. The crash happened just before 10:15 p.m. when the Honda Civic jumped the curb in front of the Capital Theater at 204 Massachusetts Ave., Arlington police said. Resident Rescued From Burning Home In Philadelphia, Authorities Say
One person was pulled from their burning West Philadelphia home and treated for injuries early on Tuesday, Aug. 1, according to authorities. It happened near the corner of North 57th and Harmer streets around 6 a.m., the Fire Department confirmed to Daily Voice. The resident was rescued, evaluated at the scene by first responders, and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, PFD said. His condition as of Tuesday afternoon was not clear.
