Honda Recalling 750K+ Vehicles Nationwide Due To Faulty Air Bag Concerns
More than three-quarters of a million Honda and Acura vehicles are being recalled due to potentially faulty air bags that could cause them to deploy unexpectedly.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that the motor vehicle giant is recalling upwards of 750,000 cars, SUVs, minivans, and pick-up trucks due to the malfunctioning air bags, which could pose a safety hazard, the agency says.

Driver Who Sped Away From Trooper Crashes, Suffers Serious Injuries On NJ Turnpike (Update)
A 49-year-old man from New York who was stopped in the shoulder of the New Jersey Turnpike was seriously injured when he suddenly sped away from the trooper checking on him, hitting another vehicle Sunday morning, May 14, authorities said.
The man was stopped in a Honda Accord on the shoulder near milepost 54.2 in Bordentown, when a trooper came over to check on him around 10:35 a.m., NJSP Sgt. Philip Curry said.
Suddenly, the Accord sped off, crossing from the outer roadway to the inner roadway, striking the passenger side of a Honda Odyssey, police said.

Ejected Motorcyclist Run Over, Killed By Cars On I-66 In Fiery Crash
A 29-year-old Virginia motorcyclist was killed in a fiery I-66 crash in which he was ejected from the bike and run over by two cars, authorities said.
Jeffrey R. Armstrong, of Sterling, was head east on a 2006 Suzuki GSX-R 600 when he rear-ended a Honda Odyssey around 11:25 p.m. Friday, April 21, Virginia State Police said.
The crash happened near the 50 mile marker where Armstrong, who was wearing a helmet, was ejected and thrown into the travel lane, authorities said.

One Killed In Long Island Expressway Crash In Suffolk County
Police are investigating a fatal overnight crash on the Long Island Expressway.
It happened around 7:15 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28 in Islandia.
Carlo M. Guercia, 46, of Massapequa, was on foot in the HOV lane of the westbound expressway, near exit 58, when he was struck by a 2019 Honda Odyssey, Suffolk County Police said.
Guercia was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner, according to police.
The driver of the Honda, a 41-year-old Williston Park man, was not injured.
