Alice Ciciora — whose area of expertise is in the European Union, European politics and policymaking — will go up against a tech writer from Montreal and an accounting director from Bayside, NY on Friday, May 26. Body Of Missing EU Delegate From Bethesda Found Two Months After Disappearance
The body of Sibylle Zitko, a missing EU delegate from Bethesda who was reported missing in January, has been found. Zitko, 54, went missing from the Lock 7 area of the C&O Canal around 6 a.m. on Jan. 6, the US Park Police originally reported. Her body was located after someone reported finding a woman’s body in the area of Lock 5 of the park on Friday, March 8, Bethesda Magazine reports. Park Police officially cancelled the search for Zitko on Friday, March 18 after the Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner positively identified the body as Zitko's. pic.twitter.com/LYxW…

A new COVID-19 strain has been discovered that is a combination of a pair of sub-variants of the Omicron version of the virus. Israel’s Ministry of Health announced that it has recorded multiple cases of the new strain, which combines the two sub-variants - dubbed BA.1 and BA.2 - during PCR testing of passengers arriving at the Ben Guiron airport. Federal officials have granted full approval to Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine following its authorization last year for emergency use.
