A driver escaped serious injury Thursday morning when her SUV slammed into the side of an apartment building in Hasbrouck Heights. Tenants in at least two units at the Boulevard Apartments were temporarily displaced, however. The entire building was initially vacated after the 68-year-old driver's parked Hyundai accelerated over the curb and into the support wall shortly after 10 a.m. Thursday, May 2. A 22-year-old driver escaped injury when his sedan ran off Route 17 and into the woods during a rainstorm, authorities said. Woman Hospitalized After Falling On Tracks At Bedford Hills Train Station
A woman was taken to a hospital after she fell on the tracks at a Northern Westchester train station, causing brief Metro-North service delays. The incident happened on Tuesday, Oct. 24 around 8:30 p.m., when a woman accidentally fell on tracks at the Bedford Hills train station, according to an MTA spokesperson.
