Man Tried Bringing Brass Knuckles, Handguns On Metro In DC: Police A man busted for fare-evasion on the DC metro was found in possession of a pair of handguns and brass knuckles, authorities said. City resident Demarcus Anthony Henderson, 24, failed to comply with citation and ID check at Pentagon City Thursday morning, May 25, Washington Metro police said. Further investigation found he was in possession of two semi-automatic handguns and brass knuckles, police said. He'll face charges of fare evasion, carrying concealed firearms, and other offenses.

DC Police Nab Stabbing Suspect In Metro Center Incident D.C. metro police have arrested the suspect in a recent stabbing incident, officials said.On August 23, Antownne Turner, 51, stabbed two victims at around 3:50 p.m. on the Red Line platform, according to the Metro Transit Police Department. The male victim, who Turner stabbed in the stomach during an argument, is in serious but stable condition, officials said. The female victim was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries and was later released, authorities reported. Turner was placed into police custody, officials said.
