Rye Divers Lead YMCA Of Greenwich At AAU Diving National Championships

GREENWICH, Conn. -- The YMCA of Greenwich Marlins -- with help from a trio of Rye residents -- took third place overall in the women’s division at the 2015 AAU Diving National Championships.

Devin Ott, Katie Laverty and Madeline Kenney of Rye paced the Marlins at the championships held July 18-15 in Riverside, Calif.

Ott, 12, finished second in the 1-meter, seventh in the 3-meter, 15th on platform, third in the 3-meter synchro, and fourth in the 1-meter synchro.

Laverty, 13, earned 11th in the 1-meter, second in the 3-meter and fifth on platform. Kenney, 17, placed 14th in the 1-meter and 16th in the 3-meter.
