Rye's Nabhan Scores Twice in Colgate Victory

Rye graduate Olivia Nabhan scored two goals, leading Colgate to a 3-2 win over host Brown Sunday. It was Nabhan’s second two-goal game of the season. She scored twice, sending Colgate to a win in its season-opener. Lakeland graduate Amanda DiDomizio stopped eight shots as Colgate improved to 4-6. Nabhan currently leads Colgate in scoring with five goals and two assists. The game featured former Rye teammates facing each other with Nabhan playing against Torie Stearns. The duo were four-year varsity players at Rye and instrumental in leading the Garnets to the 2007 New York State Class B championship. Nabhan and Stearns were also members of two gold-medal-winning Hudson Valley scholastic women’s field hockey teams. In 2008, Nabhan assisted on Stearns’ goal in a 1-0 victory in the gold-medal game.
