Rye's Disbrow Park Hosts District 20 Little League

RYE, N.Y. – Little League teams from Westchester County's District 20 section will take over Disbrow Park in Rye on Sunday for a triple-header of 9-10 minors age group second-round tournament games. The double-elimination tournament begins with opening-round games Friday at other Westchester venues.

Rye's 9-10 squad will meet the winner of Friday's Eastchester-Elmsford game in the nightcap at 5:30 p.m. Dobbs Ferry will meet Scarsdale in the day's opener at noon followed by Rye Brook against the winner of Friday's Harrison-Ardsley game. Rye Brook, Kensico and Rye had the top three seeds in the tournament and earned first-round byes on the strength of their records this season.

Winners of opening round games move on and losers play in loser's brackets games next week at several venues. Teams continue play until being eliminated with two losses.

The District 20 tournament championship game will be played at Disbrow Park on July 7 at 11 a.m.
