Rye Y Wave Ryeders Earn Wins For The Beginning Of The Swim Season

RYE, N.Y. -- The Rye Y Wave Ryeders experienced a strong start to the season with wins over JCC Scarsdale, Greenwich Boys & Girls Club and Harrison Swim Team and a loss at the Sunday meet with JCC Manhattan.

“The team is feeling optimistic about the rest of the season, said coach Kate Tiedemann. “We’ve had some great swims this season, particularly in the 8 and 10 year old age groups.”

The Wave Ryeders are now gearing up for the Super Bowl Sunday meet with Yonkers Rec at home followed by the League Championships in the end of February and the YMCA State Championships on Monday, March 2.
