DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. – The Our Lady of Lourdes High School football team avenged an earlier loss to unbeaten Rye High School with a 14-7 win in Saturday's Section 1 Class A title game, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.

John Jay lost to New Rochelle in the Class AA final, and Milbrook lost to Liberty in the Section 9 Class C final, reported the Poughkeepsie Journal.
The win is Lourdes' third sectional title in four years.
