Rye City School District Varsity Teams Receive Scholar Athlete Team Award

RYE, N.Y. -- All nine of the Rye City School District’s fall varsity teams received the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Scholar Athlete Team Award.

The award is an honor that requires a number of athletes from each team to earn a 90 percent or higher average for the first marking period.

Congratulations to the following teams that received the honor: boys cross country, girls cross country, field hockey, football, boys soccer, girls soccer, girls swimming, girls tennis and volleyball.
