RYE, N.Y. – The Mamaroneck High School boys basketball team will host several local teams, including the Rye Garnets, in the Sound Shore Classic on Friday and Saturday.

Mamaroneck won its own tournament last year for the first time since the 2007-08 season, and the same four teams will again participate this year. Rye will face Harrison in the first game Friday at 5 p.m., while the host Tigers will take on local rival Rye Neck at 7 p.m.
The winners will face off in the championship game at 7 p.m. Saturday while the losers will meet in the consolation game at 5 p.m.
Rye fell to Harrison in the first round of last year’s tournament, but the Garnets redeemed themselves with a 48-41 victory against Rye Neck in the consolation game.
