WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – Only four teams remain in the Section 1 Class B girls' basketball playoffs as the semifinals take place Tuesday at the Westchester County Center.

Second-seeded Blind Brook will face No. 3 Kennedy in the first semifinal game at 6:15 p.m. The Trojans reached the County Center for the 10th time in the last 13 years with a 55-38 win against Briarcliff in the quarterfinals. Kennedy defeated Ardsley, 71-50, to reach the semis.

Irvington is the top seed in the tournament and the top-ranked team in Class B in New York in the latest New York State Sportswriters Association rankings. The Lady Bulldogs routed Valhalla, 68-36, in the quarterfinals. Dobbs Ferry travelled to No. 4 Pleasantville and kept the Panthers to just 24 points in a 42-24 win.

The winners of the two semifinals will play for the section championship March 2.
