District 20 Little League Playoffs Continue

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – The New York District 20 Little League playoffs for the 9/10 baseball division continue Thursday with three games.

Scarsdale will take on Harrison at Gedney Field in White Plains at 8 p.m. Scarsdale had a bye in the first round and knocked off Dobbs Ferry, 8-3, on Sunday. Harrison beat Ardsley, 5-4, on Saturday and then shut out Rye Brook, 10-0, on Sunday.

Elmsford will face Sherman Park at O’Rourke Field in Eastchester at 5:45 p.m. Elmsford squeaked past Eastchester, 2-1, on Saturday and edged Rye, 6-4, on Sunday. Sherman Park rolled past White Plains, 10-0, on Saturday and dominated Kensico, 15-4, on Sunday.

Thursday’s third and final game pits Eastchester against Rye Brook at Brentwood Park in Harrison at 5:45 p.m. Eastchester beat Dobbs Ferry, 7-1, on Tuesday after losing to Elmsford, and Rye Brook beat White Plains, 14-2, after falling to Harrison.
