Brinkman set up Katie Killip’s goal 3:09 into the game and Brinkman scored four minutes later, assisted by G.G. FitzGerald, who scored the last two goals of the game. Scarlett Sulliman closed out the scoring in the first half, assisted by Tori Virtue.

Claire O’Callaghan opened the scoring for Rye with a goal 47 seconds into the second half. “The girls finished in front of the cage and did a good job of playing tough and aggressive,” Rye coach Emily Fitzgerald said.
