Tina E. Sciocchetti said she was alarmed that Mehler's case has been open for nearly two years and that no charges have been filed against her, LoHud.com reported.
Mehler was a fourth-grade teacher at Osborn Elementary that was put on administrative reassignment in May 2013 amidst allegations of improper coaching to students during state testing, LoHud.com said.
School officials said Mehler could pay a $25,000 fine in order to be reinstated. Mehler rejected the settlement offer in favor of a full hearing.
