WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Three Westchester county residents have graduated and received degrees from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
Natalie Linton from Rye received a bachelor's degree, cum laude; Molly Sinsheimer from Katonah received a bachelor's degree; and Alexia Zarras from Bedford received a bachelor's degree cum laude.
Linton, Sinsheimer and Zarras were among 712 graduates to receive degrees. It was the largest class in Skidmore College history.
Two distinguished individuals -- evolutionary biologist and author Neil Shubin, host of this spring's PBS miniseries "Your Inner Fish," and Skidmore alumna Janet Lucas Whitman, a trustee emerita of the college -- received honorary degrees at the ceremony. Each delivered brief remarks to the class.
