Rye's McCree Appointed University Of Vermont Foundation Treasurer

RYE, N.Y. -- Rye resident Don McCree has been named treasurer of the University of Vermont Foundation, according to an announcement by O. Richard Bundy III, president and CEO of the foundation.

McCree is vice chairman and head of commercial banking for Citizens Financial Group. 

McCree has served in a number of senior leadership positions during his 31 years at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and its predecessor companies. 

He has extensive experience in commercial banking gained through positions at JPMorgan, including head of corporate banking and CEO of global treasury services, head of global credit markets, North American co-head of fixed income, European co-head of investment banking and head of European and Asian syndicated finance. 

He also served as head of wholesale risk management and head of treasury and corporate development. He retired from JPMorgan in 2014. 

Prior to the merger of J.P. Morgan and Chase, McCree was based in London, where he was joint head of investment banking for Chase. 

McCree joined Chemical Bank, a predecessor of Chase, in 1983. 

He earned a bachelor of arts from the University of Vermont in 1983 and is married to Gabrielle McCree.
