Rye Schools Ready For Nor'Easter.

RYE, N.Y. – As another storm threatens to wallop the area just a week after Hurricane Sandy, Rye City Schools are preparing for more possible closings.

Milton School is operating on limited power with the use of a generator after finally re-opening Wednesday. The Rye High and Middle School building also is operating on limited power, according to the district.

All after-school elementary activities are canceled Wednesday except for Kids S.P.A.C.E. All school buildings will close at 6 p.m. Any more school cancelations will be announced early Thursday morning.
