The district is accusing teachers of "improper coaching" in a response to two teachers' lawsuits filed in federal court, according to the report..

Milton Elementary School's Dana Coppola is accused of asking students to "raise their hands after fixing an answer so she could check it again and tell them if it was right," according to the report.

Osborn Elementary School teacher Carin Mehler is accused of telling students to "change answers during the state assessments in 2013," according to the report.

The teachers' attorney, Arthur Schwartz, said the allegations were "preposterous," according to the report, and that the things that happened occurred during practice tests.
