Rye Hosts Parent/Teacher Conference Day Activities

RYE, N.Y. - Rye Recreation will host two days of activities for kids next week during parent/teacher conferences at the schools.

Students in kindergarten through fifth grade can join Brick Kids in making large, intricate leprechaun traps out of Legos. These fun and funny traps will involve gears, pulleys, trap doors and more. The program will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the Damiano Recreation Center and costs $30 per student.

Kids can also solve a mystery with Mad Science and Rye Recreation. Students in kindergarten through fourth grade will become detectives and use science to gather evidence. This program will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday and Wednesday at the Damiano Recreation Center and costs $50 per day.
