RYE, N.Y. - This summer the School of the Holy Child in Rye, along with Successful Study Skills 4 Students , will become the first school in Westchester County to offer a summer workshop devoted specifically to developing the study skills of participants.
Study skills are critical and the necessary foundation for academic success, said Head of School Ann Sullivan. We are excited to make this successful program for the first time at School of the Holy Child, so that students in our neighboring communities can take advantage of these important tools - right before the start of school.
The "S4" program is dedicated to using time management, executive functioning and organizational skills to help students in grades 6 through 12 achieve their full potential.
We are thrilled to offer our first Study Skills workshop in partnership with School of the Holy Child. Like the schools motto, Joy in teaching and joy in learning, we know that implementing even a single new skill can make a big difference in a students love of learning, said Michelle Sagalyn, president of Successful Study Skills 4 Students.
The workshop, which will be held Aug. 21-23 from 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., will be limited to 15 students; the fee is $395. For more information, contact S4 at 203-307-5455 or e-mail here . To register a high school student online, click here. To register a middle school student online, click here.
