RYE, N.Y. -- Rye High School's Parsons Street Players will perform "Shrek the Musical" in the school's Performing Arts Center on Feb. 26 and 27. 

Performances will take place Feb. 26 at 7:30 p.m. and Feb. 27 at 2 and 7:30 p.m.

The musical is based on DreamWorks' blockbuster animated film franchise and William Steig's book. 

The cast includes Cameron Kamer as Shrek, Penny Deen as Fiona, Peter Keller as Donkey and Teddy Stubbs as Lord Farquaad.
