RYE, N.Y. -- When the death of Nelson Mandela was announced on Thursday, Dec. 5, the Rye Country Day School Upper School organized an event for the next day to commemorate, celebrate, and reflect on the life of the former South African president.
Students from Rye Country Day School spent Friday, Dec. 6 remembering former South African President, Nelson Mandela, who died the day before.

Stories, videos, art images, and recollections were all part of the memorial service.
