WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – Real estate brokerage Houlihan Lawrence is sponsoring a drive to collect back-to-school supplies to benefit the children of WestHELP, the Westchester outpost of the nonprofit organization HELP USA.
HELP USA is one of the nation’s largest providers of housing, job training and social services for homeless families and victims of domestic violence. The back-to-school drive is being held now through Sept. 16. Houlihan Lawrence is inviting parents to encourage their children to select school supplies for the drive while shopping for themselves. Requested supplies include backpacks, notebooks, paper, pens, pencils, etc., which can be dropped off at local Houlihan Lawrence offices. WestHELP is a high-quality and safe permanent housing facility for 46 formerly homeless families in Westchester County. The residence’s goal is to aid these families in their effort to maintain independence and stability by providing a broad range of support including case management, day care, food, and employment services among other programs.
Houlihan Lawrence is the largest family-owned and operated real estate brokerage in New York’s Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess counties.
