RYE, N.Y. -- The sun will come out at Rye Middle School on Nov. 1 and 2.
A cast of more than 50 Rye Middle School sixth‐, seventh‐ and eighth‐graders will perform the musical
"Annie, Jr." on Nov. 1 and 2.
Both shows will be held in the Rye High School Performing Arts Centerat 7:30 p.m.
Tickets, which can be purchased at the door, cost $5 and are free for senior citizens.
Based on the classic storyline about a young girl living in an orphanage, the show will portray Annie’s
journey and feature famous songs from the original production.
"Come out and enjoy an outstanding
performance that these students have spent much time rehearsing for," the school said in a statement.
