The concerning national trend made its way to Yonkers on Tuesday after a screenshot was posted of the Casimir Pulaski School on social media with a message from the “Yonkers Clown” saying everyone there was going to die on Wednesday.

The social media accounts have reportedly been deleted.

The source of the post is being investigated, and there was no incident at any Yonkers school on Wednesday. According to police, they did not believe it to be a true threat, though they added security patrols outside of several schools as an added precaution.

This is the latest threat to be posted following a national trend of recent social media posts made by “creepy clown” accounts.

Earlier this week, several schools in Mount Vernon and New Rochelle were also threatened. Police officials from each department have confirmed that they are investigating the issues and are hopeful of tracking down suspects soon.
